This is a very eye-opening article which left me feeling very low about our current state of affairs in public education in Tennessee. Where do we go from here, especially in light of us earning a “Race to the Top” grant from the federal government? Where will this money actually go? Tennessee is ranked at the bottom of the nation, with straight F’s, when it comes to “standards.” How did we ever get here in the first place?
